Live Persian rug weaving ends in Malaysia

First live Persian rug weaving in Malaysia has ended after days of endeavor by Iranian artisan couple.

The Persian silk rug with design of the Malaysian national flag was completed after 47 days by an Iranian artisan couple at the 'Eid in Harmony' event in the Malaysian capital city of Kuala Lumpur. 

'Eid in Harmony' is an international, cross-cultural showcase that celebrates the heritage, culture, and traditions of both Malaysia and Iran.

Partnering with the embassy of Iran for the first time, Pavilion KL hosted 'Eid in Harmony’.

The festival offered authentic Iranian products and interactive activities at Pavilion KL.

Besides the live Persian carpet-weaving demonstration, visitors could view Iranian traditional handicrafts.
